Upper Big Tujunga Road to Alder Creek Hike
An “upside-down” hike along a Southern California Edison maintenance road above Upper Big Tujunga Road. The former route descends toward Alder Creek, with the final mile brushy but passable. Lunch will be on a sandy creekside beach before returning to the trailhead.

Take I-210 to Angeles Crest Highway. Head ~18 miles to Barley Flats Road, then ~3.2 miles down Upper Big Tujunga Canyon Road to the trailhead. Meet at 10:00 AM.
