Mendenhall Peak Nude Hike
A challenging nude hike to Mendenhall Peak in the western San Gabriel Mountains. Named after former Angeles National Forest Supervisor William V. Mendenhall, this rarely visited summit offers a rugged experience with minimal crowds.
Most of the route follows a fire road, but the final mile to the summit involves bushwhacking, light scrambling, and exposed terrain. At the summit, hikers will explore old concrete structures and enjoy 360-degree views of the San Gabriel, Santa Susana, and Sierra Pelona Mountains. Lunch at the summit.
